In the Navigation bar under Walt Disney World -> Epcot -> Future World, select attractions, dining, or shops to see a wealth of information all about the different things you can check out in Future World at Epcot! The Attractions Page includes general information about each attraction as well as pictures and POV Videos! The Dining Page shows you all of the dining information that Future World has to offer, including menus, for the quick service offerings and table service restaurants! Future World Overview
Epcot was the last park that Walt Disney had input in, and his view was for Epcot to be an ever-changing environment where people will go to Live, Work, and Play. Epcot actually stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow and the idea of Future World was to have technology of tomorrow existing in Epcot today.
As Future World was getting outdated, Disney Parks and the leadership team decided that Epcot needed a giant overhaul in preparation for the 50th year of Disney in Central Florida. A few years ago, Disney Imagineers were told to be bold and go big when thinking about the changes within Epcot. And now Epcot has many areas that are currently under construction as that vision is coming true! We can't wait to see how Epcot will change over the next two years and will keep the latest updates posted on our website!
